    2. Trying to find ANY mention of a Robert Groves or a Robert Kelly Groves. 1740-1830 This is my Stone Wall. Any help would be appreciated. I know he appears in Halifax county witnessing a Land Entry on the Great Swamp in 1760. In 1792 he appears on deed of Duplin county--John Bradley to Robert Groves-121/2 acres on Calf Pasture Rd. 1828 he witnessed a will of Benjamin Johnson.     2. Paula, I have a Jane Frederick m to Thomas Grimes ca 1829 in Wash. Co Ga. John Grimes was married to Catharine Frederick , Jane' sister, I have she died ca 1862 in Cherokee Co., Tx. (I did not put a source for this info sad to say) In my notes for Jane I have this In the Frederick family tree it has a Jane that married a Grimes, there is a belief that this is the Jane Frederick that married THOMAS GRIMES, Jane Had a sister named Catherine that Married a John Grimes ,he died ca1837 in Stewart CO.,Ga. After the death Catherine and her family seemed to be near Thomas and his Family, even when they went to Tx.. 1860 Tx. CENSUS CATHERINE IS IN Tx. WITH THE GIRLS,SHE MOST LIKELY WENT THERE WHEN THOMAS AND ISAAC GRIMES WENT IN 1853. In a message dated 2/19/2008 8:31:23 P.M.
