Dianne, I am really trying to sort these Lane men out. Different researchers have them married to different or the same woman and I want to have mine correct but thus far can not say for sure, "this is it." Yes you can order the info straight from the archives but it will cost you a lot more than just ordering them from the ROD, nless you live in NC. Another question on the Lane marriages... Did Martha Wood marry Abraham S. Lane on the same date , Aug. 7, 1780, that Alexander Lane married a Martha Wood in Duplin county? Or is there a marriage record out there somewhere that will prove that Alexander or Abraham Lane married Mary Quinn or some other Mary during this same time period?
