Thanks so much for sending the information about Ernie Dollar. When I first started my search for the Dollar history in 2005, I saw some of Ernie's messages on Roots Web from several years ago. I sent a reply to his web address then, but it was returned to me as undeliverable. I could never locate him after that. He must have a wonderful store of knowledge about the Dollars, simply by living back there in the area where they first came to America, and working where he works. I look forward to contacting him. So nice of you to send it to me. Betty Davidson Oregon City, OR -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John H. His age is 30-40. In 1840 there is a James Dollar in Caldwell Co, Ky, age 40-50 with one son under 10, 2 sons 10-15 and 2 sons 15-20. He was born in NC. Maybe you could check into this line. Hope it helps.
