Carol I can tell from way over here in Tennessee the work all of you do. It takes time to send email, arrange meetings with speaker and continue on and on and over and over with research. You have to love research to do this and it gets old and sometimes you have to walk away from it but you will go back and pick it up again because it is something you love and enjoy.. I can not imagine all the leg work that had to be done before computers. Computers are a wonderful invention that allow people over in Tennessee to read about the good people of North Carolina. I have enjoyed so many of the email since I have joined and I renew my membership so I can continue with this opportunity. This is a gift that I stumbled into a few years ago and I am so grateful to have found your web site and to make this possible. Over these few years I have hit on someone else's idea and use it for my on research and sometimes it will open another door for me. I want to thank all of you for all of the work you do and to keep up the good work. I want to visit the Orange County area some day and to spend a week to take a good look around at the places my ancestors lived and are buried. These are some of the same places fellow members write about in your email's. You can make it seem real and not just a place I have heard of in my research.
