Richard, That's good news, thanks for your assertiveness with the scheduling. As you probably deduced from my message to the list, Mike emailed me to protest the fact that he didn't know about the change of the January meeting date and would have shown up on the regular date. I told him we had posted it on the web page, announced it in the meeting, and sent a note to the list and I didn't know what more we could do to inform people of changes. I think we have all become aware that change is possible at any time, so we need to keep our eyes open for the date. The January meeting was interesting and well-attended. The regulars are really enjoying the meetings, and the room adds to the presentations. We still seem to be finding enough to keep us busy and involved. On another front, as you probably know, I've never researched in the UNC library, at least in part because of the difficulty in parking, but also because of my overall unfamiliarity with the facility - it's a bit overwhelming. I may be forced to make the plunge soon though, as I have been using Google Book Search and have found several books containing references to Samuel Burrage Reed, the architect. There is also a reference in the UNC law library and I'm really dreading going after that one but I suppose I must at some point. I have no idea where the building is!
