To: all D-OGS members From: The Trading Path editors Subject: book reviews needed for future issues We would like to include book reviews as a regular feature in the journal. If you have read, or used in your research, something that you found particularly interesting or helpful, please share this with us. It need not be a lengthy article – several paragraphs describing the book and telling why you liked it will suffice. These points may be helpful: - the book need not have been written recently. - it can be about methodology, or about history. - it does not have to be about Orange or Durham County specifically. - it should be a book that other members are likely to find beneficial. Be sure to include the following in your review: - author and title - a description of what type(s) of information may be found in the book - comments on how this book might be of use to others in their genealogical research. - examples of hard-to-find material unique to this book. - your impression of the quality of writing and/or organization. There will be space in the next several issues for book reviews. Please send submissions to us at [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected]) . Documents may be in either Word or WordPerfect. We look forward to hearing about the books you’ve enjoyed! Sincerely, Rob & Cathy Elias **************Start the year off right.
