I just heard an announcement for "Voices of North Carolina", a repeat program on UNCNC (Time Warner Cable channel) that will be run this coming Saturday. It will air at 7:00 PM on our local cable channel 204, but I'm certain that will vary widely with locality. The previous program at 6:00 is "Mountain Talk", which features the Appalachian dialects. Some of these programs are classics and I'm sure you'll enjoy them if you can find them. All this is in keeping with the topic of the February D-OGS meeting featuring Dr. Walt Wolfram, so maybe it will whet your appetite for the meeting. It should be fascinating.
