Click here: Missouri Secretary of State: News Release I've just come across a remarkable project sponsored by the Secretary of State of Missouri. This is part of their announcement: "Jefferson City, Missouri — Secretary of State Robin Carnahan announced today that her office has placed online a five-part video series highlighting African-American genealogy. African-American Genealogy: Putting Together the Pieces of Your Past was created by the Missouri State Archives, a division of the Secretary of State's office." These videos can be viewed online by going here: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/about/presentations.asp I'm sure you'll enjoy watching some or all of the five-part series. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the state of North Carolina could do something similar? Our heritage is so important, and fascinating to all family historians.
