A large mirror (18 X 24 in. or so) works better for reflecting light on the marker. It usually takes two people to do this---one to hold the mirror and another to take the picture. The mirror is used to set up a "shadow" effect on the marker so the engravings are in the shadow so that they show up. Bob S.
