    3. Dan , I am a member of D-OGS . I am trying to find locations of cemetaries in southern Durham County near #751 or Garrard Rd. I have heard there are some cemetaries off the beaten path and I think I can find some of my relatives in these cemetaries. I am also looking for a monument off Parkview Dr. that has the Masssey Family listed on it . If you could give me some leads as to where to start looking for these locations I would appreciate it .     3. Google Durham County North Carolina Cemeteries which will take you to Allen Dew's inventory. Two Massey family cemeteries are listed as well as the Massey's Chapel Cemetery. This is the best source I know.     3. Tommy: I live just off 751, and am fairly familiar with cemeteries in the area. To my knowledge, all of those in this area have been included in Allen Dew's web site, and all known individuals buried there are indexed and available for your review. There are two exceptions. One is the Carlton Family Cemetery which was located between 751 and Cook Road. I ran across it thirty or so years ago, when walking with my kids. It was in a very isolated spot, which has now been consumed by a large development, Hope Valley Farms. Allen Dew and I tried to find it a year or so ago, but the area is now paved and built over, and I have not explored whether or not it was officially moved. I listed most of the dozen or so graves back when I visited it, and there are no Masseys in that group. There is another unmarked cemetery plot, a small one, on 751 (Hope Valley Road), which has no identifiable grave sites, no markers, etc. It is still so designated on the city maps, but the neighbors have no recollection of any individuals or family members who have come to visit the site. As far as I can tell, it is an abandoned, unknown site, which may have had unmarked graves, but none can be identified as such. All the others are known to Allen Dew, and included in his list.
