    1. [NCDOGS] Olde Orange County Family History Day
    2. Richard, I just read about the May 10th 2008 OOCFHD in the newsletter and you can count me in for tending one of the computer tables. I hope every local D-OGS member will take the opportunity to participate in this event whether it is for an hour setting up or closing down, or for the entire day. It's always an enjoyable event and a wonderful chance to talk genealogy with folks who are just becoming interested in their Orange County ancestors and the research process. The people who come from other organizations, libraries and societies are interesting to learn from and talk with, and they often bring along things that we would not normally get to see. 3. Thank you, Carol, for your dedication to support D-OGS efforts to spread the word and encourage genealogy in our local spaces. We hope to have a good turnout and look forward to the opportunity to help others. Hopefully this will also be a learning experience for all of us. Tom Magnuson of the Trading Path Association will be there to make a presentation on local towns and settlements that sprang up along the migration routes that criss-crossed our area. - Richard [email protected] wrote: > Richard, > > I just read about the May 10th 2008 OOCFHD in the newsletter and you can > count me in for tending one of the computer tables.
