In case you're related, UNCTV (www.unctv.org) had an interesting program on the other night called "The Green Gift" (Episode 604) which talked about the Morgan and Mason families who donated land to UNC-CH, including for the NC Botanical Gardens. I'm not related to either family, but thought it was an interesting history. The show is hosted by Tom Earnhardt. "The Green Gift" is part of UNCTV's Exploring North Carolina series about the state's natural wonders.
