It has been suggested that we bring refreshments and consider it a farewell brunch, and I think that would be a nice way to sum up what we have all learned from the CIG, and to help us think about what we would like it to be in the future, once we have our regular meeting place once more.   The CIG has not consistently met in December due to the holiday season, and as you say December is the month D-OGS has its annual birthday party and dinner so we may want to consider that enough. If someone pops up with a request to present a topic for the December CIG meeting, I will certainly be happy to go to the meeting and enjoy the presentation. However to date I have not had such an offering.   I'm sure we will have a lot to talk about at the November D-OGS meeting and I hope we have a huge turnout, in view of recent developments concerning our next president, vice president and program chair, and so on.
