We are going to have a special guest speaker, author and forensic genealogical consultant Colleen Fitzpatrick, who will be talking about some of her work in this very specialized field. Her organization's website is http://www.identifinders.com/index.html. Colleen's appearance is due to the work of one of our members, Harvey Estes. Harvey had contacted Colleen about one of her books and found out that she would be in Durham in early October 2010. He asked if she would join us for our meeting and she complied. Our thanks go out to Harvey for his diligence and perseverance. Colleen has asked me if a D-OGS member would be willing to assist her with lodging for the evening of October 6 and transportation to the airport the next morning.
