The notice for the July CIG meeting: The D-OGS Computer Interest Group (CIG) for July 10, 2010 will be held in the downstairs conference room at the Chapel Hill Public Library. The topic to be presented by Peg Edwards will be "Using Excel Spreadsheets to Assist In Your Genealogical Research". If you have made use of spreadsheets for your genealogy, bring along some examples and add to the discussion. Please continue to send me your web sites of interest as you come across them. There are new sites showing up every day, and genealogists all across the country spend hours of volunteer time transcribing and indexing records for all of us to use.
