Happy New Year, All.... This might be interesting for the professional genealogists among us. Coming up today on the new Oprah Winfrey Network(OWN): An episode of "Searching for..." described as follows: "A sneak peek of a new docu- series following the real-life work of Pam Slaton, a Professional Investigative Genealogist, stay-at-home mom and New Jersey housewife." The Time Warner Cable schedule says 2pm EST. In Durham, NC, OWN is on Cable Channel 35. Please check your local listing. I've never heard of Ms. Slaton, but maybe some of you have. And, I'm sure this hour-long program will be repeated somewhere along the way. Best, Nerissa
Hi Again, Folks.... I started watching this program. It's mostly about folks asking this woman to look for birth mothers. I guess that qualifies as genealogy. But it wasn't what I expected.
