In case you're related, UNCTV (www.unctv.org) had an interesting program on the other night called "The Green Gift" (Episode 604) which talked about the Morgan and Mason families who donated land to UNC-CH, including for the NC Botanical Gardens. I'm not related to either family, but thought it was an interesting history. The show is hosted by Tom Earnhardt. "The Green Gift" is part of UNCTV's Exploring North Carolina series about the state's natural wonders. Hi Nerissa, Back in March (19th) I announced a new feature of the "What's New" blog on the new D-OGS website which would allow you to subscribe to the blog via email. What this means is that every time a new post is published to the blog, you will receive an email in your inbox. It's very similar to using Google reader to subscribe to blogs. It brings the content (including links) directly to your inbox. You don't even have to go to the website's blog if you have this feature. The D-OGS Computer Interest Group will meet at the CHPL small conference room at 9:00 AM tomorrow. We will answer your questions and discuss topics of interest to the participants including the Surgeon General's "My Family Health Portrait" and its role in both genealogy and family health.
