Young married Laura Ann Lookabill on Mar 31, 1872. John's parents were Frederick Young (b:abt 1806) and Christena Hedrick (b:abt 1810). Laura's parents were Jacob W. Lookabill (b:abt 1828) and Julian Laughlin (b:abt 1832). Jacob W. was the son of John Lukenbill (Apr 19, 1807 - Feb 1845 and Charity Bowers.
