This family (about 11 children, including my ancestor Walter b 1776. Others were; Samuel, John, Robert, William, David, and some sisters) is extensively discussed on the Rowan Co webpage, and genforum Barclay and Barkley. I hope to visit the area in the forseeable future and wish I knew more about where the Barkley plantations were. These waterways were mentioned in Robert Barkley of Rowan Co's will; Potts and Richards. Can someone tell me more about the whereabouts of these waterways? I expect they are very small. I will post Robert Barkley m to Leah's will elsewhere on this web for any interested cousins, but recommend that they visit the other websites mentioned for more detailed information.
