They eventually migrated to Illinois where a son John ? Wier was born May 1851 believed to be in Shuyler County, Ill. John Wier married Carrie Lee Nuckols who was born August 1863 in Virginia. They then migrated to La Cygne, Kansas where they had two Children. My grandmother, Blanche Wier born in 1885 and a great aunt Tolie Wier born in 1897.
