I have two mysteries named Briggs: 1)Ethel Virginia, b 10 Mar 1905, at Montcalm, Mercer, WV, m 7 May 1924, Ernest Alonza Davidson, b 1902. Both buried Blue Ridge Cemetery, Prosperity, Raleigh Co., WV, near Beckley. ---2)Alice Briggs, age 18 per Mercer, WV marriage record, 20 Nov 1898, to Isaiah Hill, b 1878. Parents of Alice recorded as D.M. and M.E. Briggs. This is a first marriage for Isaiah, with no family member having mentioned it, in my presense, in my 69 years. Any info about any of these folks will be sincerely appreciated. I, also, have an original photo of Bertha, Snookums, and Lucy Briggs. However, I do not know the linkage between any of these ladies.
