He was born in early 1800's. Most of the Isaiah Jones descendents moved to Indiana but William did not and the last known resiedence for him is Davidson County. William's grandparents were Isaac & Elizabeth (Cox) Jones from Penn. to Va. to N.C. and they died in Grayson County Virginia. In N.C. they lived in Surry county.
