She married Jacob CRAVER Jr. on 13 Apr 1796 at Davidson Co., NC. She died 04 Jan 1881 at Edwards Co., IL. Jacob was born 13 Apr 1796 at NC and died 15 Apr 1881 in Illinois. Both are buried at the West Salem Moravian Cemetery, at West Salem, Edwards County, Illinois. They moved from Davidson Co., NC to Edwards Co., IL in 1838. They are listed in the 1850 to 1880 Federal Censuses for Edwards County. Hannah was the second of seven (or six?) children of Maria Magdalena WALK CLODFELTER (1783-1822) and JOHN GLADFELTER (CLODFELTER) Jr. (1780-1845). Maria is buried at the Moravian Cemetery at Friedberg, Forsyth Co., NC and John moved to Edwards Co., IL where he is buried. After Maria died John remarried to Maria's elder widowed sister, Johanna. Hannah's birth and Baptismal Certificate is on display at The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Center in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Certificate reads as follows: Jesus My Joy Hanna Elisabetha CLODFELTER is born in North Carolina in Rowan County in the year 1807 the 28th November. Her parents are Johannes CLODFELTER and his Christian wife Maria Magdalena, born WALK. She was brought to Holy Baptism by Mr. RIDI, the preacher. Her baptismal sponsors were Hanna WALK and Georg FREY. Jacob CRAVER was the son of JACOB CRAVER Sr. I know nothing else of the JACOB CRAVER Sr. family. Can anyone help? Jacob CRAVER Jr. and Hannah CLODFELTER CRAVER were the parents of 12 known children: 1. Philip CRAVER (1834-???), nothing known. 2. Mary CRAVER (1835-???), nothing known. 3. Susan CRAVER (1837-???), nothing known. 4. Jacob CRAVER (1840-1914) married Alice T. (???-???), buried at W. Salem Moravian 5. Harrison CRAVER (1841-???) married Martha Ann _____ (1847-1869), at least one child: Bertha CRAVER (1869-1884); Martha buried at W. Salem Moravian, Harrison was Civil War Veteran 6. Eliza Jane CRAVER (1843-???), nothing known. 7. Sarah CRAVER (1844-???), nothing known. 8. Martha CRAVER (1847-???); married Romulus Augustine FISHEL (1841-???) in 1868. Listed on 1870, 1880 and 1900 Edwards Co., IL censuses. Martha said she was mother of nine, seven living in 1900. 9. Emaline CRAVER (1849-???), nothing known. 10. Adeline CRAVER (1849-???), nothing known. 11. Albert CRAVER (1854-???), married Olivia _____ (1856-???); listed as parents of Warren CRAVER (b. c1877) and Charles CRAVER (b. c1879) in 1880 Edwards Co., IL census. 12. Flora CRAVER (1859-???).
