She is the Daughter of Johan Bernhart EYTEL - EITEL or as he was known in North Carolina John Barnett IDOL. Elizabeth and his family are in the 1850 census with the rest of the family in Illinois. Her name is still HEDGECOCK which is what the family went by after the 1800's. But there are others who have her married after 1802 to other men. Does anyone have an idea what is going on? A death date or place for Elisha who was not in his fathers will in 1830's would be wonderful. Any other information you might have on these families is always nice.
