Hi Bonnie Just a note for your Berrier research.....The original "Berrier" name was Barrier. This can be seen on early deeds (see Rowan Co usgenweb-deed for Charles Barrier and wife Yunes (Eunice). Second wife was Johanna- see Will. Also, presently in the Old Pilgrim Church cemetery you can still clearly read "Jorge Barier" on tombstone. The 1759 tax record for Charles is "Bearyer".
