Hi List, i just recieved the following info: "He found a Civil War map that mentions a Haston's Ferry just west of Lexington, NC. I think that this would be in Davidson Cty. I can't tell what river or creek it is on. Source: The Official Military Atlas of the Civil War, Plate CXLII, page coordinates: D-E and 12-13" Does anyone know if this place still exists and who it was named for? Any info on Haston/Hastings in your area would be appreciated.
