Denton, in Davidson Co, NC, is very near county line of Randolph Co, NC, and the reference I have is from the 1870 Census for Randolph Co, NC: Ellen Tysinger b. 1838 [mother] M. A.Tysinger b. 1860 W. E. Tysinger b. 1865 M. L. Tysinger b. 1868 If this is the family I think it is, Ellen was married to John Tysinger, b. 1836 d. Bef. 1870.
