My ancestor was William Emler/Embler. I believe his first wife may have been Louise Sullivan. I think they were from Davidson Co, NC, and left sometime after 1840. William Emler/Embler and wife Vicy were on 1850 Lewis Co, TN census with following children: J.Larkin, Elenore, Elizabeth, Henderson, Hill, George, Mary, James Franklin, Amanda, and possibly a son John. William's sons, George and (James)Franklin, married Nancy Pricilla Curry and Roseanna Curry in Lewis Co, TN. William later married Joice Lovell in Maury Co, TN in 1860.
