Will Henry was known to have lived in or around Old Fort near Ashville,NC after his second wife died. He was married 3 times. We know that his mother was most likely full-blooded Cherokee Indian; he was half Cherokee. We know nothing of his parents or siblings, he never spoke of them. His first wife was: Blanche McDonald and they had one daughter (Luxola Medley, later married a Ferruchie) and one son (Lee Medley); both of them are deceased also Will Henry and Blanche. His second wife was: Mae Davis. They had 3 daughters and one son, also 2 sets of twin boys that died before birth. The children are as follows: Bessie who married Jake West, Beatrice Joyce (my gmother) who married Everett William Sims, Fannie Rosealee who married George Short, Robert who married: Ethel ?. All deceased now except my gmother Beatrice. His third wife was Ollie Short whom had children from previous marriages. Her and Will Henry had a son, but she didn't carry it full term, so it was never born. Will Henry is burried in Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain,NC beside his third wife. Will Henry was born in Haywood County,NC that we know of on Dec.26, 1888 died: June 11, 1955. Anyone have any information on this family please email me at: kaseybm@yahoo.com
