George came to America sometime after he was married or before he was married as all of his children were born in Rowan County, North Carolina. From George I descend from one of his sons, John Conrad Grubb. From John Conrad Grubb, I descend down through one of his sons, Frederick Grubb. From Frederick Grubb, I descend down through one of his sons, William Grubb. From William Grubb, I descend down through one of his sons, Lindsay Grubb. From Lindsay Grubb, I descend down through one of his sons, Johnny Lindsay Grubb. From Johnny Lindsay Grubb, I descend down through one of his daughters, Winnie Mae Grubb. Winnie Mae Grubb was my grandmother, she married Misheal Remus Augustus "Gus" Pennell. From Winnie, I descend down through one of her sons and my father, Jay Augustus Pennell. This is how I am related and connected to the Grubb family surname and how I'm related to the Grubb family ancestors and descendants from Davidson County, Rowan County, Guilford County, Forsyth County and Mecklenburg counties, all counties in North Carolina. I'm also related to the Crotts family surname in Davidson County, Rowan County, Caldwell County and other counties in North Carolina.
