My husband is the grandson of Jesse Moses DeWitt Barrier, the son of Daniel M. (D. Monroe in 1860 Census) who is the first-born son of Moses Barrier. (1850 Census) Family Trees I have found list Jacob Barrier as his father. I have printed out theSt. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Concord, NC, cemetery listing from USGenWeb listing. I found a Jacob Barrier there, as well as Moses Barrier's first wife, Sarah Nussman. However, I have not seen anything that links Jacob to Moses conclusively. Do you have any solid link? Any information you can give would be much appreciated. Thank you.
