I still hold out hope because there weren't that many Wilsons in Rowan Co. at the time. I am hoping to track down the parents of my William M. Wilson, b. 1821. The Henry Wilson I mentioned may not be related--I thought perhaps he was because both my William and Henry were silversmiths, both living in rented quarters in Salisbury in 1850. William M. Wilson married my Caroline Earnhardt but after just one child (Clara Bell Wilson), he died in 1864. Clara Bell Wilson married my John Fletcher Pace in 1874. Betty Pace - bapace2@juno.com
