Perhaps you can answer a related question as well. In the IGI there is a listing of one John Grady born 15 oct 1802 in Davidson Co., NC and James O. Stephens as a relative. I'm pretty sure I've got John Grady's descendancy well in hand, but his ancestry is a puzzel to me. And I haven't figured who JOS is. Is this something that you can illuminate?
