Dear Davidson County subscribers: Thought I would pass this along to everyone who is researching family in Davidson County, NC. Davidson Community College (Lexington, NC) is offering a new continuing education class in genealogy called "My Family Tree". There will be five Saturday morning classes (9-12) beginning January 20th and ending February 17th. The class is free to senior citizens and $35 for everyone else. The class will focus on organizing your names, dates and family facts using your computer and genealogy software. The class is for all persons, young and old, who want to start entering their data or do Internet searching for additional family members.
