Spaugh (14 Mar 1862--24 Jun 1937). They probably were married around 1879, since their oldest child was born in 1880. The info I have comes from a series of books, "The Byerlys of Carolina," published 1960, 1965, & 1976, by Wesley Grimes Byerly, Jr. Your Noah would have been a 1st cousin of my wife's maternal grandfather. The common ancestor would have been Elansum Byerly (16 Dec. 1833--28 Sept 1897), father of Phillip W. and Jackson Joel Byerly (and others). I don't have the books...just lucky that our county library does, as does the Davidson Co. library in Lexington.
