I checked the 1870 Davie county census and your Elizabeth Deadman was married and living with John Deadman and they had living with them Sarah Grubb who was three years older. I checked my Grubb database and I think she belongs to this family. Henry Grubb and Mary McBride. they had quite a few children but had an Elizabeth and an older sister Sarah who was three years older. They are in the right age group. the other Sarahs and Elizabeths that I have do not fit the age group at all. also their sister in law Lydia J. Grubb moved to Davie county after her husband Conrad died.

I have found a marriage between Mary Kennedy and A.H. Beck in Davidson County on December 25, 1887. This seems to fit my Mary Kennedy, but am wondering if anyone has records that would show more information on this marriage such as Mary's parents. My Mary's parents were William and Cynthia "Cecil" Kennedy. Would like to confirm if this is correct Mary. Thanks for any help. Linda
