William Emler/Embler and wife Vicy were on 1850 Lewis Co, TN census with following children: J.Larkin, Elenore, Elizabeth, Henderson, Hill, George, Mary, James Franklin, Amanda, and possibly a son John. William's sons, George and (James)Franklin, married Nancy Pricilla Curry and Roseanna Curry in Lewis Co, TN. William later married Joice Lovell in Maury Co, TN in 1860. Do any of these connect with your line?

Next door is son-in-law George Washington Woodell (Woodall)28,his wife Elizabeth Evaline(Smith)26. Near-by are Probably Georges' Parents,John Woodell,52, and wife Eliza,47, plus several of their children. I know that there were several Leonard Smiths in Rowan and Davidson Co. since the 1700's. Does anyone have any idea who this Leonards' parents were? I would appreciate information on any of these people. I have information on the descendants of Leonard and Rebecca, plus those of George and Elizabeth. Leonard probably had A son named Obediah who married Margurate Rider(from Davidson Co.) I also have information their descendants. Most of these folks pulled up stakes and moved to Yell Co. AR. around 1854.
