Do not understand why he would be the main preacher from 1803 until his death in 1814 and when the Sisters of the church and the Brethren were listed, his wife and elder sons were never listed. Fathers and sons and wives were listed throughout, but not the Moderator's! Did pin point his death date closer and learned more about the church and scenarios the congregation faced, but wonder if his wife and children attended another Church. Would be odd wouldn't it? IF anyone out there finds a Thomas C. Casey and wife Eliza Jacomine Woodard attending church from 1817-1830, let me know. That was Dempsey's eldest son. Thos. was 24 when his father died. If someone reads of an Elizabeth Casey and children in any records from 1789-1809/10. That would be Dempsey Casey of Currituck's wife and children. They had twins Frederick Sawyer and Lovey Sawyer Casey in 1809 according to Bible records, but no mention of Elizabeth or Frederick in Dempsey Casey's Will written May 6th 1814. Trying to get back into research, but I am being blessed the last year and this year again, with two great grandbabies each year. Have to rock them instead of researching:) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
