My name is Nadine Christall and I do FLETCHER family research. I am seeking information on members of the 10th North Carolina Regiment in 1777 who came out of the Currituck/Pasquotank North Carolina area. WILLiam Fletcher., Sergt served under Jarvis Company in the 10th regiment He enlisted the 5th of May 1777 for 3 yr period and died on the 20th January 1779. THOMAS FLETCHER also in the Jarvis Company in the 10th regiment also enlisted the 5th of May 1777 for 3 years. I have found on the Currituck County ABSTRACT OF WILLS dated 1767 will of Stephen Williams "Peggy Fletcher" one of the witness' I have found on the Currituck County records Deed Bk 6 pg 245 1792 "PEGGY FLETCHER selling land on Coinjock Bay. [Her parents seem to have adopted the Creef spelling in their wills.] She was probably born around 1770 in Currituck Co.
