I will use your new address in the future. I just wanted to answer your questions now while I am on-line. Reguarding the Melson book, there is no publisher written. I do not have a book, someone sent me a copy of a typewritten book that was 86 pages long. In reading the first few pages I now see that on page 2 in the middle of the page is written. "This Record is based on the family status as of 1956. Compiled by John W. Melson, son of Alonzo Melson and Mary Justine Pledger Melson". Here is how it begins: "Two Legends have been found concerning the Melson Family. In Currituck County one legend is, that an Irish boy came ashore from a ship wrech off the coast of North Carolina, and settled at Powels Point. In Tyrrell County the story is, that and Irish family settled in Tennessee, and the descendents later came to North Carolina". This the first paragraph. If you have a copy you will recognize, if you don't, I would be glad to make a copy and send it to you if you are interested.
