Hello I am working on my family tree. I am trying to determine if Elsie Lee (Ballance) Jackson traces back to John Ballance that came from England. He was very prominent in Currituck. Elsie was from Currituck,NC as well. She was married to Ulrich Alexander Jackson (Currituck,NC). Her DOB is 2 Nov,1908. She had 3 children: Wm G Jackson (deceased), Donald L Jackson (deceased) and Elsie Jean Jackson-Sandler. The parents of Ulrich were George R Jackson and Jean (McCrea) Jackson (from Scotland?)
