I interpreted this entry to mean that Manloff R. Gregory, born 9 Oct 1800 in Currituck County, and was the son of Thomas Gregory and his second wife, Bettie Toller. Another entry: Mary Gregory, b. 4 Jan 1811, Currituck Co., daughter of Thos., and Bettie; and Mary was the wfe of N.N Rodgers. Another entry: 8 Jan 1790, Gregory, spence H. s/ Thomas, 1/ Dirctor (Hall); husband of Lovey Jasper, Currituck Co. Then scroll down to this double entry: DAR Gregory, Thomas 1759-1843; husband of Director Hall, (1st) of North Carolina; DAR Gregory, Thomas 1759/1843; husband of Toller, Bettie (2nd), Currituck Co. There are other entries in regards to this family, but I think that the ones listed above, give evidence that Thomas Gregory had two wives, and with each of his wives, he had children. I think that this site contains much family information. Cathy Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
