Does anyone have a copy from the Will books or the original Wills of Jonathan Jarvis-1775-1776 and Daniel Lindsey-1774 that they could send to me via email? I live in New Orleans and either lost them in Katrina, or put them away so safely, that I can't find them. I am preparing papers to join the Jamestowne Society and have the application, almost, finished and can't find these Wills. The Society doesn't accept the transcripts or abstracts. I would be happy to pay for them and would be forever grateful. Also, if I am accepted on the scant evidence that I have that Jonathan Jarvis was the son of Richard Jarvis and Dinah Woodhouse, I would be happy to share my research if anyone is from this line. The descendants of Joseph Gray and Mary Woodhouse are, also, eligible for the Society and that line, if you descend from their son, Thomas, means that you are descended from Capt.
