I will check into it. I know that Dempsey was the pastor at the Northwest Baptist Church in Moyock from 1803-1813. The family sold the homestead in 1826 and I have worked the deeds for the ownership of the land up to the present but hit a brick wall when it was sold in 1835 to William Jones.
