I have a little info on a Charity Jane Northern, who married a Sanderson. My mother (1930-2008) spoke of a "Cousin Philip" Sanderson of her youth. Seems as though there was a family farm on which he lived. I have Philip Northern, married to Mary Jane Sanderson, (my GG Grand Mother) children: Willoughby Dozier Northern, Patrick Northern, Alice E. Northern, Laura Northern, Mary Elizabeth Northern & James M. Northern. The family farm is located in Moyock and is known as the Northern-Holt-Cox House, it was built in 1856 for Philip & Mary Jane Northern. After Philip's death, Mary Jane married Edwin Warden Holt, 1837 - 1907 (my GG Grand Father) I also show Charity Jane Northern, b. abt 1829, married to Thomas Lindsey Sanderson, b. abt 1817, children: Julia A. Sanderson, Philip N. Sanderson, Thomas Cadwell Sanderson, Jonathan B. Sanderson, Florence W. Sanderson, Charity Jane Sanderson, (b. 17 Dec 1856, m. W. T. Whitehurst) & Elizabeth Lindsey Sanderson.
