The county, his parents and siblings are unknown. He appeared in Helena, Phillips, Arkansas, about 1863 where he enlisted in the Confederate army. After the war, he married Susan Helen Walton Loury/Lowery and remained in the area the rest of his life. DNA from this line has been submitted to the Moore family project.
