Hi Terry, Thanks, but I have the Woodhouse line, back to England. I have joined the Jamestowne Society on the line. John Woodhouse was Mary's father. He names her in his Will as Mary Sanderson. She was, first, married to Lemuel Sanderson and, second, to Joseph Gray. John Woodhouse's son, Lemuel Woodhouse named her as his sister, Mary Gray. I have lots of data on many of the connecting lines if I can help anyone, let me know. It is Joseph Gray that has me stumped. There was a Richard and a Thomas in Pasquotank and a Thomas, later, in Currituck who could be Joseph Gray's father. Joseph named his eldest son, Thomas, but I can't find any Wills, deeds, etc. that prove Thomas was the father of Joseph Gray. Julia In a message dated 1/4/2010 12:44:42 P.M. My ancestors John Love, Thomas Love, and a few more Loves, were from Currituck County in the late 1600s and up to about 1760. Since, the population of the county was very small in that time frame, John Woodhouse and your Mary had to be related. Hope this is of some help.
