Well, I rely on Ancestry.com everyday. As a matter of fact what I sent to you was from them, except for the Will. It might be on Ancestry but I didn't check for Wills. I am a serious genealogist and don't find that the price is too high. I would pay more trying to find the records that they have in other places. Julia In a message dated 1/30/2010 5:50:15 P.M. Have you any thoughts about the “ credibility” of Ancestory.Com? I see their ads run on TV and they lead you to believe that they can provide a great deal of background information. I am sure that it comes with an expensive price. Thank you again! There has to be a relationship there. Julia In a message dated 1/30/2010 12:35:33 P.M. Central Standard Time, Chuck.Grey@cardinalhealth.com writes: Hello, My name is Chuck Grey. I am a resident of Norfolk, Virginia. I was copied on the request for information about Mary Gray. Although I do not have any genealogy on Mary Gray...I am very interested in your research as my decedents do come from Currituck County. My lineage is from Spencer D. Gray who was written about in David Stick's book, "Graveyard of The Atlantic". I have some information about Spencer but I am very interested in finding more about his father and beyond. Spencer drowned on March 5th, 1876 in a heroic rescue attempt. My great aunt changed our family name from "Gray to Grey" back in the early 1900's. If you have any information on the family of Spencer D. Gray....I would love to hear from you. Mary Woodhouse Hi Jean, All I have is speculation. Lemuel Woodhouse mentioned his Uncle, Thomas Taylor, in his Will. I have checked in every way that I can to see how Thomas could be his uncle and the only way that I can figure is that he was the brother of Lemuel's mother. That would make her a Taylor. The daughter was named, Mary, so her mother may have been Mary Taylor. Of course, she could be been name after her grandmother if Elizabeth were not her grandmother, but John's second wife. Sorry I can't be of more help. I wish I knew. Julia In a message dated 1/29/2010 4:16:05 P.M. Central Standard Time, jfstms@bellsouth.net writes: Do you have the name of Mary's mother? I have never been able to find a name. Do you have a maiden name for her grandmother. All I have is Elizabeth. I know Elizabeth was married first to Adam Hayes before marrying John Woodhouse, Jr. Thanks, Jean ----- Original Message ----- From: <juliafwood@aol.com> To: <nccurrit@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 04, 2010 1:53 PM Subject: Re: [NCCURRIT] Father of Joseph Gray, m.
