According to his death certificate, Harold died in Crawford Township, Coinjock City of a shotgun discharge which was ruled a "homicide". This sounds very strange to me so I would like to try to see what other information might be available concerning the death. Does anyone know what newspaper might have carried the story at the time and/or what local library might have microfilm of those newspapers today? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you. Doesn't "homicide" simply mean that the actions of one person resulted in another person's death?? It doesn't mean "murder", or "intentional killing". It just means someone else fired the shotgun that killed Mr. Dinsmore.? Probably an accident that happened more frequently than was reported. -----Original Message----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: nccurrit-l@rootsweb.com Sent: Sun, Aug 30, 2009 8:37 pm Subject: [NCCURRIT] Harold Pattey Dinsmore - October 1944 searching for newspaper articles of death This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
