Built and Reg. in NC. Owner Samuel SALYEAR. Listed Oct. 15, 1784. There was a John BURR in 1788, Master of the Sally 25 tons, built and reg. in NC owned by Thomas Cooke. Only surname variables that came close to Burris. I am not familiar with the Burris varibles, so went through all the B's and these were the only spellings that looked close to me. Sorry.
